Who we are

LC Brushworx is a painting and decorating business based in Kingswells, Aberdeen. If you have any questions about this notice or your data, email L.CBrushworx@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you request a quote we collect your name, phone number, email address, town or postcode, and the details you give us about your job. We only collect what we need to quote for and carry out the work.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit, send your quote and, if you go ahead, carry out and invoice the work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the business. We will not sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry is stored in our customer management system (GoHighLevel), which we use to manage quotes and bookings. This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which also provides spam protection on the quote form and cookie-free visitor statistics. These providers process data on our behalf and under contract.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The spam check on the quote form may use a strictly necessary cookie to tell people and bots apart.

How long we keep it

If you don't go ahead, we delete your enquiry after 12 months. If you become a customer, we keep job and invoice records for six years for tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing L.CBrushworx@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
